Iris roots have to be hand-peeled, washed, air-dried and distilled before use – a process that takes approximately six years. Such a careful approach certainly isn’t wasted, as the results are endlessly impactful. Expect a delicate, powdery scent that puts a buttery, floral spin on woods, musks and balsams.
