Berkane Orange Blossom Eau Triple would undoubtedly have delighted both Marie de Medicis, who adored bigaradier flowers, and, of course, the Princess of Nerola. At the end of the 17th century, Anne Marie de la Trémoille, then married to Prince Flavio Orsini de Nerola, cultivated a legendary obsession for orange blossoms and bigarade essence, which she used to perfume her clothes and her Italian palace. This exceptional diplomat gave her name to neroli essence, a fragrance that remained a favourite among Italian aristocrats for a long time.
